UPOWA achieves certification to three internationally recognised ISO standards
UPOWA has achieved certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, recognising its commitment to quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety.
The certifications form part of an 18-month BRCK Group-wide programme, involving comprehensive audits, reviews and improvements across the businesses.
The certification strengthens UPOWA’s commitment to delivering high-quality, safe and environmentally responsible solar PV solutions for customers across the UK.
We are proud to announce that UPOWA, as part of BRCK Group, has successfully achieved certification to three internationally recognised ISO standards: ISO 9001 – Quality Management, ISO 14001 – Environmental Management and ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management. The certifications mark an important milestone in UPOWA’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality, safe and environmentally responsible renewable energy solutions across the UK.
UPOWA strengthens quality, environmental and health & safety standards
The achievement follows an 18-month, Group-wide programme led by the BRCK Group SHEQ team, working closely with Aviso Consultants and colleagues across the businesses. UPOWA’s own SHEQ Manager, Paul Rees, and Office Administrator, Vanessa Lima, played an important role in supporting the certification process and coordinating UPOWA’s contribution. The comprehensive programme included site visits, pre-audits and internal audits, providing valuable insight into existing systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Following the audits, teams across the Group worked collaboratively to address findings and strengthen management systems, demonstrating a shared commitment to continual improvement. The formal certification audit process began in May 2026 and was completed in June, with certification awarded on 3 July 2026 to BRCK Group plc and the 34 businesses included within the scope of the certificates.
ISO certification supports UPOWA’s solar PV installation services
For UPOWA, the certifications apply to its end-to-end design, supply and installation contracting services for solar PV (photovoltaic) installations, reinforcing the robust processes and standards that underpin the delivery of its renewable energy projects.

These new certifications further demonstrate UPOWA’s commitment to continually improving its processes and delivering high standards of quality, safety and environmental performance, while helping customers on their journey towards a greener, more sustainable future.
